Teeth Whitening
Common questions about our in-studio whitening treatments.
During the treatment, a professional whitening gel is applied and activated using LED light to safely lift stains and brighten your smile.
A teeth whitening session at The Glow Bar typically takes around 60–90 minutes depending on the package chosen.
Yes. Teeth whitening works on natural tooth enamel, but it can also lift surface stains and dullness, helping crowns, veneers and fillings return closer to their original shade.
Results can last several months to over a year, depending on lifestyle habits such as smoking, coffee, tea or red wine consumption. Many clients choose occasional top-up sessions to maintain their brighter smile.
Yes. Professional teeth whitening is safe when carried out by a trained specialist using professional-grade products. At The Glow Bar, every treatment begins with a consultation to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.
Some clients may experience temporary sensitivity, but this usually fades quickly after treatment. Our whitening systems are designed to minimise discomfort while still delivering effective results.
Results vary depending on the natural shade of your teeth and the type of staining present. Many clients see their teeth lighten by several shades after a single treatment.
The Glow Bar offers several whitening packages depending on the level of whitening you would like to achieve. Pricing starts from €65.
For best results, it's recommended to start with a 60 minute whitening session to achieve the best initial results. This should then be followed by a 40 minute top up session within 2–6 weeks to further enhance and lock in your brighter smile
After that, for maintenance, top-ups are recommended every 3–6 months to keep your smile looking fresh and white.
No, there is no downtime after teeth whitening, and you can return to your normal daily activities straight away. To help maintain the best results, we recommend avoiding strongly coloured foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, red wine and dark sauces for the first 24–48 hours after treatment.
Laser Tattoo Removal
Everything you need to know before starting your removal journey.
Laser tattoo removal works by using advanced laser technology to break down tattoo ink into tiny particles beneath the skin. Your body’s natural immune system then gradually removes these particles over time, causing the tattoo to fade with each session.
The number of sessions varies depending on factors such as the size, colour, depth and age of the tattoo, as well as your skin type. Most tattoos require multiple treatments for best results, with noticeable fading after the first few sessions.
Laser tattoo removal can feel similar to the sensation of a tattoo being applied, often described as a quick snapping feeling against the skin. Most clients find the treatment very manageable, and sessions are usually quick depending on the size of the tattoo.
Treatments are usually spaced 6–8 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and the body time to naturally flush away the broken down ink particles.
Many tattoo colours respond well to laser treatment, especially black and darker inks. Some colours may take longer to fade than others, but modern laser technology can treat a wide range of ink colours effectively.
Yes. Laser tattoo removal is a safe and widely used treatment when carried out by a trained professional using medical-grade equipment. At The Glow Bar, treatments are performed with strict safety standards to protect your skin.
Laser tattoo removal is designed to target the ink without damaging the surrounding skin. When proper aftercare is followed, the risk of scarring is very low.
Before treatment, avoid sun exposure and keep the skin clean. After treatment, the area should be kept clean, protected and allowed to heal naturally. Full aftercare instructions will be provided to help achieve the best results.
Tattoo removal prices are based on the size of the tattoo, with clear pricing listed on our price menu. Because most tattoos require multiple sessions, many clients choose treatment packages, which offer better value compared to paying for individual sessions.
Laser Hair Removal
Answers about sessions, preparation and long-term results.
Treatments are usually spaced 4–6 weeks apart for the face and 6–8 weeks for the body to match the natural hair growth cycle and achieve the best results.
Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy to target the pigment in the hair follicle. The laser heats the follicle and disrupts future hair growth while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. Over a course of treatments, hair becomes finer, lighter and grows back much slower.
Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction. After completing a course of treatments, most clients experience significantly reduced hair growth, with any regrowth usually finer and lighter. Occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended.
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snapping feeling against the skin, similar to a small elastic band. Modern laser technology also includes cooling systems to keep the treatment as comfortable as possible.
The treatment area should be shaved 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid waxing, plucking or threading for several weeks beforehand, as the laser needs the hair follicle to be present in the skin to work effectively. Sun exposure and fake tan should also be avoided before treatment.
Modern laser technology allows a wide range of skin types to be treated safely. The treatment settings are adjusted based on your skin tone and hair type to ensure the safest and most effective results.
Laser hair removal is generally very safe when performed correctly. Some clients may experience temporary redness or mild sensitivity in the treated area, which usually settles within a few hours.
Laser hair removal pricing depends on the treatment area, with clear pricing available on our price list. Many clients also choose package options, which offer better value when completing a full course of treatments.
Most clients require 6–8 sessions for the best results. Hair grows in cycles and laser treatment is most effective during the active growth phase, which is why multiple sessions are needed to target all hairs properly.
Red Light Therapy
What to expect from our red light therapy sessions.
Red light therapy is a gentle treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate the skin and support natural cell renewal. It helps improve overall skin appearance by boosting circulation and encouraging healthy skin function.
Red light therapy can help improve skin tone, texture and overall glow. It is often used to support collagen production, reduce the appearance of fine lines and help calm inflammation in the skin.
Yes. Red light therapy is a non-invasive and very gentle treatment. It does not damage the skin and is widely used to support healthy skin function.
A session lasts up to 30 minutes. At The Glow Bar, red light therapy is done during your teeth whitening treatment, meaning you can benefit from both treatments at the same time.
Red light therapy costs €20 per session, or €15 when added to a teeth whitening treatment.
Red light therapy can be done regularly for the best results. Many clients choose to add it onto their teeth whitening appointments for a convenient skin boost.
